Wyoming's limited X-ray rules

Wyoming's Board of Radiologic Technologist Examiners issues a restricted Radiologic Technician license limited to the body areas listed on it: skull/sinuses, chest, spine, extremities (including the pectoral girdle and pelvis) and podiatric.

A single license may cover no more than three of those areas. You pass the Core plus a separate exam for each body area (Wyoming rules chapter 4).

Worth knowing

  • Bone densitometry (DEXA) has its own restricted license through the ARRT BDEO exam.
