Nebraska's limited X-ray rules
Nebraska DHHS licenses Limited Radiographers (172 NAC 93-003.03). You pass the ARRT Limited Scope exam or a Board-approved alternative, with sections for chest, extremities, skull and sinus, spine, ankle and foot, and bone density.
Nebraska's pass mark is split: 70 on the Core and at least 65% on each section for the license you're applying for. Abdominal radiography requires passing the spine section.

Nebraska limited X-ray FAQ
Can a Nebraska limited radiographer X-ray the abdomen?
Nebraska ties abdominal radiography to the spine section: you need to pass spine to do it (172 NAC 93-003.03).
Is bone density part of the Nebraska limited license?
Yes, bone density is listed as an exam section for the limited radiographer license. The rule doesn't say whether that's the ARRT Bone Densitometry exam, so check with DHHS.
Which modules are on the Nebraska limited scope exam?
The core (patient care, radiation safety and image production) plus Chest, Extremities, Skull/Sinuses, Spine and Podiatric. You don't have to take every module: you take the core plus the ones for the body areas you want on your license.
What score do I need to pass the Nebraska limited scope exam?
70 on the Core and at least 65% on each section for the license you're seeking. Limited X-Ray Prep only calls you ready once you reach 75% on every section.
