Privacy Policy
Last updated . This page explains what RadRegistryPrep collects, why, who can see it, and the choices you have.
The short version
- We collect what we need to run your account and track your study progress.
- We do not sell your personal information, and we do not show ads.
- Your leaderboard name is the username you choose. Your school only shows if you turn it on.
- If you join a school program, your program director can see your scores and progress.
- You can ask us to show you, correct or delete your data at any time.
What we collect
Account information
Your email address, first and last name, the username you pick, when you plan to take the ARRT exam, and, if you add one, your school or program.
Study activity
Your quiz and mock exam answers and scores, time spent, flashcards you mark Knew it or Missed it, micro lesson checks, 30 Day Study Plan progress, your study streak, and assignments you complete. This is what powers your stats, the Readiness Score and the Smart Study Coach.
Competency tracker
The competencies you log, the date, whether it was on a patient or a simulation, and an optional accession number. Never enter patient names or other patient information. The accession number is optional and should be used only as your own reference.
Things you send us
Questions you type to the AI tutor, problems you report with a question (the reason, your note and the answer you picked), and messages you send through the Contact page.
Approximate location
We estimate the U.S. state a visit comes from, using the location your connection already provides, to show the live activity map. For that map we store only the state and a one-way scrambled code made from your connection address.
Devices you sign in on
Each account is for one person and can be signed in on up to 3 devices at a time (see our Terms of Service). To enforce this and to protect your account, when you are signed in we record each device you use: a random device code stored in a cookie, your browser and device type, your IP address, the approximate city and state it comes from, and when the device was first and last used. We use this only to limit devices, to spot accounts that appear to be shared or taken over, and to keep the site secure. A device's record is removed when it is signed out by the limit, and the sign-in history is deleted after 120 days.
Payments
Paid plans are handled by Stripe: your card number goes to Stripe, never to us, and we keep only your plan and its status.
How we use it
- To run your account and keep you signed in.
- To show your stats, Readiness Score, weak areas and Smart Practice quizzes.
- To show leaderboards and, if you join one, your school program's tools.
- To answer your AI tutor questions and fix questions you report.
- To reply when you contact us, and to keep the site secure and working.
- To keep each account to one person on up to 3 devices, and to spot accounts that appear to be shared.
Who can see what
Other students who are signed in can see leaderboard entries: your username, your score and, only if you choose to show it, your school. They cannot see your name, email or answers.
Your school program. If you join a program with its code, the program director can see your name, practice and mock exam scores, study plan progress, assignment results and competency progress. Clinical instructors see the competencies of students assigned to their clinical site. You can leave a program at any time.
Us. We can see account and study data to run and support the site, and to review question reports.
Services we use
We rely on a few trusted providers. Each only gets what it needs to do its job:
- Supabase stores your account and study data and handles sign-in.
- Vercel hosts the website.
- OpenAI powers the AI tutor. When you ask the tutor something, we send the practice question, its answer choices and explanation, the answer you picked and your message. We do not send your name or email.
- Stripe processes payments.
- Resend delivers emails, such as replies to messages from the Contact page.
Lesson and tour narration is recorded ahead of time. We never record your voice.
How long we keep it, and keeping it safe
We keep your data while your account is open so your progress and stats stay complete. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete your account and study data, except anything we must keep by law, such as payment records.
Data is sent over encrypted connections, and access is limited by account so students only see their own data. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password.
Your choices and rights
- Change your username and school, or hide your school, any time in Settings.
- Leave a school program any time.
- Ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, or to delete your account through the Contact page. We'll respond within 30 days.
- Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act. We honor these requests the same way.
Children
RadRegistryPrep is made for radiography students and technologists. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has signed up, contact us and we will delete the account.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your information, we'll update this page and the date at the top. For significant changes, we'll also let you know on the site or by email.
