Washington's limited X-ray rules
Washington's Department of Health registers X-ray technicians (RCW 18.84, WAC 246-926). WAC 246-926-500 asks only for an application, verification of other licenses, fees and any other information the secretary decides; there's no exam and there are no body-area categories.
Registered X-ray technicians may not practise as diagnostic radiographers.
