Rhode Island's limited X-ray rules
Rhode Island has no limited X-ray operator license or ARRT Limited Scope pathway. RIDOH licenses radiographers, nuclear medicine technologists and radiation therapists.
There's one exemption in R.I. Gen. Laws 5-68.1-4 for podiatry assistants who hold a CCRI certificate of completion (or a board-approved equivalent) and passed the podiatry radiography course. We only partly reviewed the licensing rule (216-RICR-40-05-34), so check with RIDOH.
Some of Rhode Island's details aren't stated on an official page we could read. Check with your state board before you apply or register for an exam.
