Georgia's limited X-ray rules
Georgia has no state license or exam for X-ray operators. The rule is a facility training requirement: each registrant must give every X-ray operator at least 6 hours of instruction within 90 days of hire (Ga. Comp. R. & Regs. 111-8-90-.04(2)(a), effective 2020).
That instruction covers radiation protection, darkroom technique, patient protection and machine safety. The Georgia Society of Radiologic Technologists also says Georgia doesn't license imaging professionals.
